Doug Benjamin has over 30 years of banking experience and graduated from Buena Vista University with a degree in Business. He also completed Graduate School of Banking in Boulder, CO. Prior to joining Northwest Bank Doug served as Regional President for MidWestOne Bank in Conrad, IA. Benjamin is native of Northwest Iowa, growing up on a farm in Humboldt County, and has frequented the Iowa Great Lakes area for many years. Doug and his wife Barb live in Spencer. They have two daughters who are both graduates of the University of Iowa and currently employed in the medical field. Doug has been involved in various organizations including Rotary, Kiwanis, school, and hospital boards. He currently serves on the Iowa Great Lakes Corridor and SIF boards along with many other activities in Spencer.
