Northwest Bank is proud to support the Backpack Program!
Children need proper nutrition everyday in order to properly grow, develop and learn. Going one to two days without food can have a huge impact on a child's development. The Backpack Program provides a sack of food to children in need every Friday during the school year. The food sack helps keep them nourished over the weekend, so they can come back on Monday ready to learn!
We invite you to drop off nonperishable food items or monetary donations for the Okoboji & Spirit Lake Backpack Programs during the MONTH OF NOVEMBER!
BackPack Food Items Include: Easy Mac - microwave macaroni and cheese, juice boxes, individual bottles of juice, cans of spaghetti and meatballs, pudding cups, chewy granola bars - peanut butter or chocolate chip, Quaker microwavable quick oats - with flavoring, peanut butter crackers packages, crackers and cheese packages, fruit snacks, Jiff peanut butter to go containers, jars of peanut butter, jars of jelly, cans of chicken and noodle soup, individual packs of Cheez it's, Goldfish, 100 calorie treats, individual cereal boxes, pretzels, mini muffins, Poptarts, Hormel Complete dinners and more.
