Brent Johnson | Chief Financial Officer
Brent is a former CPA at a national public accounting firm. He has been in the banking industry for the last 35 years and in the chief financial officer capacity for the last 26 years. He has been the CFO of Northwest Financial Corp. since 2011. Brent is an advocate of our community banking philosophy serving our customers, communities, employees, and shareholders. He is involved with the Iowa Lakes Capital Board of Managers serving on the review and due diligence committees, formerly served as Director of Employee & Family Resources serving on the audit and finance committees, an Ames housing corporation as Director and Treasurer, and Treasurer of several community churches throughout his career.
Sara Frerichs | Director of Credit Administration, EVP
Sara Frerichs has been in banking for 27 years with 23 years in the mortgage industry. She has been with Northwest Bank for 26 years and has held positions as Personal Banker, Mortgage Originator, Retail Manager, Market President, and Director of Credit Administration. Serving others is important to Sara, she is a Member of the Board of Trustees at her church, Treasurer of the local Habitat for Humanity affiliate, Dickinson County Compensation Board chair, Lakes Area Hockey Association tournament committee.
Angie Peterson | VP, Residential Real Estate
Angie Peterson brings 23 years of banking experience to the Northwest Bank team with the last 20 years in the mortgage industry. Angie is involved in her church as a Sunday School leader and Elder, she is also an active member of Spirit Lake School’s PIE group and a member of the Iowa Great Lakes Rotary. Angie enjoys getting to know her clients and finding the right mortgage product to meet their individual needs. Whether it’s your first home, a vacation home or you’re a returning homeowner, Angie is ready to assist you.
