Nicole Evans, Bank President of Northwest Bank in Arnolds Park and Milford, is pleased to announce Carson Farmer as Ag/Commercial Banker, AVP. Carson’s responsibilities include new business development, promoting the banks vast products and services and serving existing customers.

Farmer specializes in Commercial and Agricultural banking. He has been with Northwest Bank since graduating from the University of Iowa in 2017 with a double bachelor’s degree in Business Administration focused in Finance and Management with a Risk Management and Insurance Certificate. Prior to this current role within Northwest Bank, Carson has held the position of a Senior Credit Analyst and Loan Portfolio Manager. He enjoys building and developing relationships with business owners as well as assisting entrepreneurs who are in the pursuit of their business ownership. Holding underwriting and risk management roles, assisting lenders with commercial relationships, and interpreting the numbers that help support major loan decisions has given Carson a useful perspective when working with customers to help them meet their financial goals. 

Carson, his fiancée Taylor, and their two children reside in Arnolds Park. Daughter Eden is 7 years old and attends 1st Grade at Okoboji Schools. Daughter Chandler recently turned 1 year old. Carson and his family enjoy everything this area has to offer: the amusement park, farmer’s markets, parks/playgrounds, and biking on the trail system. He also volunteers as a coach with Northwest Iowa Soccer Club and as assistant coach for Spencer High School soccer. He is looking forward to his continued involvement in the community.
