Northwest Bank Donates $25,000.00 to Floyd Valley Foundation to Benefit Maternal Health/OB Renovation and Expansion

Floyd Valley Foundation received a donation of $25,000.00 from Northwest Bank to benefit their Maternal Health/OB Renovation and Expansion. Brad Cave, Ag/Commercial Banker, VP, and Kevin Eekhoff, Bank President of Northwest Bank in Le Mars presented the check. Amy Harnack, Floyd Valley Healthcare Foundation Manager, and Dustin Wright, Floyd Valley Healthcare CEO, accepted the donation on behalf of Floyd Valley Foundation.
The expansion will allow expecting mothers to deliver in Labor Delivery Recovery and Postpartum suites versus the current model of delivery and moving patients to a recovery room. The new Maternal Health birthing suites will be doubled in size, allowing for maximum comfort for the entire family and care team. A well-equipped OB area provides essential healthcare services to the community, contributing to the overall well-being and health of our local population. It can reduce the need for patients to travel to outside facilities for obstetric care.
