Jed is a native of Northwest Iowa growing up in Aurelia, Iowa. He received a bachelor’s degree in finance from Iowa State University and is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin’s Graduate School of Banking. Jed has worked 36 years in the banking industry and has been with Northwest Bank for over 27 years. He has significant banking experience in retail, mortgage, commercial lending and bank management. He and his family have lived in Spirit Lake for 27 years where he is deeply involved in the community and is currently a member of Kiwanis, Immanuel Lutheran Church, a Board Member of the Iowa Great Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce and a Board Trustee for Lakes Regional Healthcare in Spirit Lake, along with past involvement and volunteering with many other community organizations.
Jed is dedicated to helping his customers meet their financial goals. He strives to fully understand and meet customers' needs through attentive listening, meaningful conversations and determining collaboratively with the customer the best approach and plan for their investment goals and asset management needs.
