Alex is a native of Spencer, Iowa, having been born and raised in this community. He received a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of South Dakota. After graduating he decided to come back to his hometown and establish his career as a Financial Advisor, which he began in 2012. With 10 years of industry experience, he joined Northwest Wealth Management as a Wealth Advisor in February of 2022.
As a Wealth Advisor, Alex’s incorporates many areas of his client’s financial lives and pulls them together into one cohesive financial plan, ultimately helping each client make smart financial choices and be well positioned to achieve their goals. He believes that every investor deserves an advisor who is willing to commit to transparency and a fiduciary standard of care, a standard where the client’s interests are prioritized over the advisors. These are the very principles that brought Alex to Northwest Wealth Management.
The Spencer community is an area of passion where Alex invests considerable time, serving on several non-profit boards including the Spencer Young Professionals and the Spencer Family YMCA. Alex and his wife Mackenzie have two children, Millie and Milo. In their spare time, the enjoy golfing and spending time with family and friends.
