Northwest Bank Donates to Clay County Relay For Life

Northwest Bank held a community shred day on June 10th at their bank location in Spencer. The event allowed community members to dispose of confidential paperwork easily and securely. Overall, the event raised $749.00 by collecting free-will donations.

Regional President of Northwest Bank in Spencer, Doug Benjamin, stated that, “Shred day has benefitted our community immensely in the past few years and continues to grow and raise funds for Clay County Relay for Life. Not only do community members get to dispose of their old paperwork safely, but we get to see so many of our customers and community members while doing so.”

Over the years, Northwest bank has both supported and held a variety of events in which donations raised go towards our local American Cancer Society organization. These fundraising events are successful because of the great community turnout. Northwest Bank appreciates everyone who took time out of their day to come out and show support.
