Northwest Bank Awards $4,000 in Scholarships to Local High School Recipients

Northwest Bank is pleased to announce four local students who have received continuing education scholarships of $1,000 each. The scholarships were awarded to: Nolan Carroll, Waukee High School, Levi Manning, Northwest High School, Shea Berger, Dowling Catholic High School, and Elliot Baughman, Valley High School.
Scholarships were awarded to students based on scholastic standing and they must be enrolling as a full-time undergraduate student in a business program.
Travis Simpson, Regional Bank President, and Jill Thielen Regional Senior Lender, EVP of Northwest Bank in West Des Moines presented the $1,000 scholarship to each student to be used at the college of their choice. “We pleased to have the opportunity to present these students with the scholarship awards and honor their dedication and hard work. Awarding these scholarships is a great way to help students save for their higher education and recognizes them for their outstanding achievement and civic involvement and volunteerism.” said Simpson.
