West Des Moines, IA.  With more than 25 years in banking, Kerry McGuire has joined Northwest Bank in West Des Moines as Senior Vice President and Commercial Lender, shared by Bank President Travis Simpson

In his new role, Kerry will focus on expanding commercial banking relationships in the Des Moines area. He brings extensive experience in commercial and real estate lending, along with a strong understanding of the local business community and a track record of helping clients grow and succeed.

Before joining Northwest Bank, Kerry served as the market leader and in a commercial lending role at Farmers State Bank and Bankers Trust in Des Moines. He holds an MBA from the University of Iowa and earned his undergraduate degree in Finance from Iowa State University.

Kerry is a long-time resident of the Des Moines area and is actively involved in the community. He is a member of the Des Moines Reciprocity Breakfast Club and serves on the board of the St. Thomas More Center and the Dowling Soccer Club.

Kerry and his wife, Renee, reside in West Des Moines with their five children who are active in area schools and sports programs. Outside of work, Kerry enjoys cycling, following Iowa State athletics, and cheering on Oklahoma women’s basketball. His professional expertise, combined with his commitment to family and community, reflects his values of leadership, service, faith, and integrity.
