Adam joined the Northwest Bank team in 2019 and is responsible for developing and servicing the banking needs of commercial businesses. He works with businesses of all sizes and has a passion for helping businesses meet their growth and development goals. Adam has volunteered with the United Way of Siouxland for many years and has been an Ambassador for the Siouxland Chamber of Commerce since 2014. He and his wife are small business owners themselves and he is passionate about seeing Siouxland grow.
Adam Wright began his banking career in 2011 and truly believes in the mission statement of Northwest Bank - Building Relationships and Exceeding Expectations. Adam enjoys getting to know our customers and providing them a positive banking experience. He is proud of the relationships he has built and looks forward to developing new ones. Beyond his banking role, Adam is actively engaged in community betterment initiatives, serving on the boards of the Shenandoah Public Library, Shenandoah Medical Center Foundation, and the Shenandoah Chamber and Industry Association. Additionally, he gives his time and expertise as a middle school and high school coach.
Amanda began her career in banking in 2005, where she started in Bank Operations. She then worked her way over to the loan department as a Loan Administrator and Loan Officer. In 2016, Amanda joined the Northwest Bank team in Shenandoah, where she currently works in Ag/Commercial Lending and Loan Administration. Amanda graduated from Iowa State University in 1998, with a double major in Ag Business and Horticulture. She continues to develop relationships, solve problems, and help others take advantage of the opportunities available to them. Amanda is passionate about Agriculture and the importance of the family farm. She is the fourth generation of her family to grow up on their farm. In school she was active and FFA and 4-H. Amanda continues her involvement in these programs, currently serving as a 4-H leader and President of the Fremont County 4-H Youth Committee. She also serves as Treasurer for the Fremont County Extension Council, President of Charles Hockenberry Foundation, and Secretary/Treasurer for the Greater Shenandoah Foundation.
Proudly born and raised in Creston, Austin Berry specializes in Commercial and Agricultural banking. In 2010, he earned his degree from Iowa State University and in 2013, joined Northwest Bank in Creston as a Credit Analyst. Since then, he has grown in his career and has been able to build and develop relationships with our Ag and Commercial customers. Austin is actively involved in the community. He proudly serves on the board for the High Lakes Outdoor Alliance, a local group dedicated to outdoor recreation in Union County. Additionally, Austin is a dedicated member of the Knights of Columbus. In his spare time, he also enjoys coaching little league, fostering teamwork and sportsmanship among young athletes.
Brad Cave, Commercial Banker, AVP, is responsible for managing and developing an agriculture loan portfolio as well as handling new account development to include customer deposit and loan servicing. With a degree in Ag Business and Business Administration from Northwestern College, Cave has previous experience in banking, along with crop insurance and field marketing.
Carson Farmer specializes in Commercial and Agricultural banking. He has been with Northwest Bank since graduating from the University of Iowa in 2017. Since that time, he has grown his career through his Underwriting and Risk Management roles, assisting lenders with commercial relationships, and interpreting the numbers that go into major loan decisions. Carson enjoys building and developing relationships with business owners as well as assisting entrepreneurs who are in the pursuit of their business ownership. His background in credit, risk management, and finance helps Carson have valuable conversations with borrowers about their existing business needs as well as identify new opportunities to help them reach their financial goals. Carson enjoys being active in the community through volunteering as a coach with Northwest Iowa Soccer Club and assistant coaching for Spencer High School.
Chad Schuiteman, President, is responsible for team development, coordinating bank involvement with the community, and being responsible for developing and servicing agriculture and commercial businesses to help meet their banking needs. Schuiteman began his career with Northwest Bank in 2015 and most recently served as Ag/Commercial Banker in Sioux Center. Chad has expertise in areas of agricultural and commercial banking with personal experience in agricultural business. Schuiteman is a graduate of Northwestern College with a degree in Ag Business. His education and insights have helped many of our customers meet their financial goals. Chad resides in Sioux Center and is looking forward to becoming involved in the community. He is involved in the Sioux Center FFA Alumni board and also with the Sioux Center Chamber of Commerce Agriculture Committee.
Corey Matson specializes in Commercial and Agricultural lending and has been with Northwest Bank since 2009. Corey grew up on a farm in North Central Iowa and moved to Humboldt in 2000 after graduating from the University of Northern Iowa. He has been active in the community throughout his years in Humboldt. Currently, he is on the Humboldt Community School Foundation and the treasurer for The Humboldt County Community Foundation . He is a member and past officer of the Humboldt Rotary Club, a member of Humboldt County planning and zoning board and a long-time assistant coach for the Humboldt High School football team.
As an active community banker, Curt currently serves as a Dickinson County Soil and Water Commissioner and previously served on the Dickinson County Extension Council. He has been a past 4-H leader for 13 years and was inducted into the 4-H Hall of Fame in 2002. Curt and his family reside on a 3rd generation farm outside of Superior and are active members of St. Mary’s parish in Spirit Lake where he is a 4th degree Knights of Columbus.
With over two decades of experience, Dan Weiss is an Agricultural and Commercial Lender dedicated to serving the financial needs of the community since 2004. Dan specializes in building meaningful relationships with his customers, working alongside them to navigate the complexities of agricultural financing, and helping them achieve their business goals. A proud graduate of Iowa State University, Dan holds a degree in Agricultural Studies with a minor in Agronomy. Beyond his role in banking, Dan is deeply committed to giving back to the community. He currently serves on the Corner Counties Early Child Development Board. Additionally, Dan actively contributes his time and expertise as a board member for the Page County Cattlemen, serves as an e-mentor for the Shenandoah Community Schools, and has played a vital role in shaping the mentoring programs as a board member for MAY Mentoring.
Dan Waigand, Bank President in Creston, has over 14 years of experience in banking. Dan prides himself in his ability to form close relationships with his clients and enjoys finding solutions to his customer’s needs. Prior to joining Northwest Bank, he served as Senior Loan Officer for First National Bank in Creston. He is a graduate of Iowa State University with a major in Agricultural Business with an emphasis in finance. Dan has been active within the Creston community since 2010. Currently he is an executive member of the Union County Development Association and a member of the Union County National Resources Conservation Board. He has also served on the Iowa Banker’s Ag Committee.
Doug Berte specializes in Agricultural Banking. As a community banker, Doug provides a unique experience to Northwest Bank customers by offering solutions and exceptional service to meet their financial needs. Doug believes that getting involved where you live and work proves high yields for both the community and local agricultural business. Doug is a member of the Humboldt County Development Association, Humboldt county Community Foundation and the St. Mary's School Board. He has also served on the Iowa Banker's Ag Committee.
Eric Walhof, Regional President, has the responsibility of overseeing our Sioux Center, Le Mars, Spencer, Milford, Arnolds Park, Spirit Lake, and Estherville locations and their Market Leaders. His role supports the bank’s mission of providing progressive banking services to its customer base. Eric combines his passion of mentoring customers and employees with building a solid loan portfolio. With over 25 years of banking experience in agricultural, commercial banking and team management, Eric shares his expertise in all aspects of community banking. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Dordt College. He also serves on the Sioux Center Health Foundation, Sioux Center Planning and Zoning Committee, ATLAS of Sioux Center, he is a member of Kiwanis and is involved with several other community entities. Eric is deeply committed to strengthening the communities that Northwest Bank serves and to support our bankers as they grow their careers.
Jacob has been with Northwest Bank since 2017 and recently moved into his new role after completing the Manager Trainee program and was previously a loan portfolio manager with Northwest Bank. He graduated from Dordt University where he received his Agricultural Business degree and minor in Economics. Jacob currently serves on the Special Youth Challenge board, Spencer Community Theatre board and the GACO board. He is also apart of the Clay County Ag Committee. Jacob is actively involved with Spencer Jaycees, Grand Avenue Community Outreach and is a member at Riverside Church and Ignite Youth Ministries.
Jill Oltmanns joined the Northwest Bank team in 2020. She graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Agricultural Business and International Agriculture. Jill previously worked for a meat processing plant where she learned how to buy hogs and USDA price report. She is currently a Loan Portfolio Manager specializing in helping customers analyze their operation’s finances and further develop their position in the Ag industry. Jill farms corn and soybeans along with raising hogs with her father, brother, uncle, and cousins in her time outside of the bank. Family farms are near and dear to her heart. Jill is active in the Le Mars community. She serves on the Le Mars Chamber of Commerce Agriculture Committee, the 4-H Foundation Board, the United Way Board, and teaches Faith Formation at her local church. Jill enjoys participating in community activities, listening to podcasts, helping her husband on the farm, and spending quality time with family.
John Ueltschy, specializes in Commercial and Ag lending. He has been in banking since 2005 in the Fort Dodge area. John joined Northwest Bank in 2009 as a mortgage banker. Since that time he has grown his career in areas of commercial analysist and Commercial and Agricultural lending. John graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a degree in finance. John is active in the community; he is currently treasurer of Fort Dodge Noon Sertoma and was previously president and chairman of this organization. He also serves as an advisory board member for Iowa Central Community College’s Associate of Professional Studies degree in Business. John has also been involved with the Twin Rivers Habitat for Humanity.
John Taets truly believes in the mission statement of Northwest Bank - Building Relationships and Exceeding Expectations. With over 40 years of financial services experience, John shares his expertise in all aspects of community banking. Prior to joining Northwest Bank, John served as an Ag Lender for Farmers State Bank in Jesup Iowa, Farm Credit Services in Rochester Minnesota and past President of Wells Fargo Bank in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He currently serves as a board member for Unity Point Health System. He has severed as past President for Fort Dodge Catholic Schools, Fort Dodge and Webster County Development Corporation and Trinity Regional Hospital Foundation. He has served the boards of Greater Fort Dodge Area Chamber of Commerce as an Ambassador, Friendship Haven Foundation board member, Unity Point Health Fort Dodge as board chair and the Iowa College Foundation co-chair for Webster County. John is also a current member of Rotary International.
Justin is originally from the Saint Cloud, Minnesota area and attended college at Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato, graduating with a degree in Business Communication. He started his career in banking in 2004 as an intern and has since held various positions in underwriting, consumer/commercial lending and was most recently Senior Lending Officer. Justin is a proud 2015 graduate of the Graduate School of Banking UW-Madison. He is an avid Minnesota Vikings fan and enjoys riding his motorcycle as often as he can. He and his wife, Emily, moved to Algona with their daughter Shay in 2021. He looks forward to promoting Northwest Bank services to strengthen and develop customer relationships while becoming a community leader.
Born and raised on a family farm near Sheldon Iowa, Kent returns to Northwest Iowa following a 30-year financial services career in Minneapolis, MN. In his current role as an Ag/Commercial Banker, he is focused on serving needs and delivering solutions to agriculture and commercial businesses. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Northern Iowa, and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of St. Thomas. Kent along with his family look forward to engaging in the vibrant and growing Sioux Center community.
Kevin R. Eekhoff, Bank President, is responsible for the management of the Le Mars Market. Kevin has held management and leadership positions in banking throughout his 42+ years in banking. He is a graduate of the Wisconsin-Madison Graduate School of Banking and holds a Bachelor of Arts from Buena Vista University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of South Dakota. Eekhoff maintains professional affiliations with the Iowa Bankers Association and Siouxland Bankers Association. He is also involved in the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Siouxland program as a Big and a Board Member, the Le Mars Business Improvement Committee, Le Mars Area Chamber of Commerce Agriculture Committee, the Floyd Valley Healthcare Foundation Board as Chairman and the Le Mars Lions Club.
Matt Dutcher, Bank President, is a Fort Dodge native with over 20 years of experience in banking and finance. Matt prides himself in his ability to cultivate deep relationships with his clients. Prior to joining Northwest Bank, he served as Market President for Great Western Bank in Fort Dodge. He is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa with a BA in Communication Studies and a minor in Business. Matt has been active within the Fort Dodge community since moving back to the area in January of 2010. Currently he is a board member on the Fort Dodge Betterment Foundation and the Development Corporation of Greater Fort Dodge. He was also a former Chair and Board Member of the Fort Dodge Housing Agency.
Mitch Van Regenmorter started his career with Northwest Bank in 2021. He graduated from Dordt University with a bachelor's degree in Animal Science. Mitch was raised on a family farm near Maurice, Iowa. He has been active in the agricultural industry since he was young working on farms in his area, including his family’s. He is currently a Loan Portfolio Manager specializing in helping customers analyze their operation’s finances and achieve their financial goals. Mitch enjoys helping with a variety of events at the Sioux County Fair each year and looks forward to getting more involved and engaged in the community.
Growing up on the family farm, Pat Berte specializes in Agricultural and Commercial Lending. As your trusted Ag and Commercial Advisor, he will work closely with area farmers and businesses to provide resources and solutions to help their businesses succeed. Pat serves on the Board of Directors of the Kossuth County Economic Development Corporation, is a member of the Knights of Columbus and is a past member of the IBA’s Ag Committee.
Rachel Gordon, a seasoned professional in the banking industry with a decade of experience, currently serves as a Business Banking Assistant. Her role not only involves cultivating client relationships but also includes educating her customers to the best of her ability. Rachel earned her degree in Agribusiness Management from the University of Nebraska- NCTA, with a minor in agronomy. Since joining the Shenandoah team in 2014, she has been an integral part of the community, actively contributing as a member of the Ag Committee for the Shenandoah Chamber.
Sharon Hotz specializes in Agricultural and Commercial loans and focuses on Commercial Deposits and Treasury Management Services. Sharon is passionate about developing relationships with business owners and farmers with her top priority as helping her clients achieve their financial goals. As an active community member, Sharon serves as Vice President of Fort Dodge Kiwanis, Board Member of Character Counts of Fort Dodge, Advisory Board Member for FD Butler School, and has served as Past President and Treasurer of Humboldt County Jaycees. She is also actively involved as a volunteer for the Webster County 4-H organization.
Sid Bodholdt specializes in Agricultural lending and has been an agricultural lender in the Fort Dodge market since 1991. Sid enjoys building relationships with customers to help them succeed. He is a graduate of Iowa State University with a degree in Agricultural Business. Sid has been active in the community throughout his years in banking. Currently, he is a mentor for the Fort Dodge public school system and member of the 1st Presbyterian Church Foundation Board. He is a past president of the Webster County 4H foundation, past president of the Fort Dodge Chamber of commerce Ag relations committee, past officer of the Sertoma Sundowners, former member of the Webster County Extension Council and the Webster County Fairboard.
With roots in banking since 1998, Staci Heaberlin has had an active presence in the Afton market since 2009. Staci specializes in Management and Agricultural Lending where she welcomes the opportunity to engage one-on-one with our customers to understand their unique needs. She truly appreciates the relationships that have been built and works to continue to exceed expectations with our customers. Beyond banking, Staci is deeply involved in the Clarke and Union County communities. She currently lends her expertise to various organizations, including the Clarke County Zoning Board, Southwestern Community College Ag. Advisory Committee, FFA Advisory Committee, Afton Community Club, and she’s had the honor of serving as the past President of the Murray Community School Board.
Tim brings over15 years of banking experience in a variety of capacities and focuses on agricultural and commercial banking. He is responsible for developing and servicing commercial businesses to help meet their banking needs while supporting their business growth and development goals. He graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Finance and a minor in accounting. He is enrolled at the University of Wisconsin Graduate School of banking and will graduate in August 2024. Tim currently serves as treasurer for the Mid-Iowa Fellowship of Christian Athletes board, and coaches youth football and basketball. In the past he has served on the Gilbert Education Foundation board and United Way Analysis of Social Services Team. Tim resides in the Ames area with his wife and four children.
