Northwest Bank Names Joe Conover President and Chief Executive Office

Spencer, IA – Northwest Financial Corporation (NFC) announced that Joe Conover, President of Northwest Bank, will add the title of Chief Executive Officer of Northwest Bank, effective November 1, 2026. Conover has also been named Executive Vice President of Northwest Financial Corporation, the bank's holding company.

Greg Post, who has served as CEO of Northwest Bank, will step down from that role on the same date to focus full time on his responsibilities as President and Chief Executive Officer of NFC, where he will continue to lead holding-company matters including capital planning, acquisitions, and shareholder and regulatory relationships.

The transition is part of NFC's long-term succession planning and was developed deliberately with the full alignment of the executive team. The bank's strategy, executive team, and customer relationships remain unchanged.

Conover has spent 25 years with Northwest Bank and currently serves as its President. In his new role, he will lead the bank's operations and its team of approximately 435 employees across 23 locations.
