Garrett Heater

Garrett is an Iowa native, raised near the town of Kellogg, and graduated from Grinnell High School before earning his bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting from Central College. He now lives in Laurens with his wife, Kennedy.

Garrett began his career with Northwest Bank as a summer intern in Spencer and joined Northwest Wealth Management full-time as an Associate Advisor in January 2024. In his role, he is committed to helping clients build comprehensive financial plans, develop tax-efficient strategies, and feel confident in their path toward long-term financial success.

Garrett is also active in the community. He currently serves as President of Spencer Young Professionals and volunteers with organizations including the Iowa Great Lakes Fishing Club, Pheasants Forever, the Special Youth Challenge, and youth wrestling programs.
