Jodi has been in banking since 2022, joining as a commercial lender. With a strong business background, she brings a unique perspective to the industry. Her entrepreneurial journey began right after college in January 1997 when she launched a multi-location dry-cleaning business, which she successfully owned, managed, and operated until selling it in January 2019. In 2010, Jodi expanded her business interests into residential real estate, where she continues to own and manage a portfolio of properties.
Outside of work, Jodi is a devoted mother to three children: Lauren, Zachary, and Scarlet. Lauren is a senior majoring in speech pathology at the University of Iowa, Zachary is a junior studying film and television at DePaul University, and Scarlet is a freshman at Southeast Polk High School, proudly performing with the RhythAMetteS dance team. Jodi enjoys long outdoor walks and cherishes time with her children and friends.
As a proud University of Iowa graduate and longtime Hawkeye football season ticket holder, Jodi brings both passion and dedication to everything she does. She holds licenses in Series 65, Life and Health Insurance, as well as Property and Casualty Insurance, and is a graduate of the Iowa Bankers Association’s Introduction to Commercial Lending and Commercial Lending Schools. Jodi is deeply committed to giving back to her community. Since 2019, she has served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), advocating for children in the foster care system. Additionally, she was recently appointed to the board of the Dollars for Scholars scholarship program, where she helps support students in the Southeast Polk School District as they pursue their educational goals.
Payton Turner is a Private Banking Assistant at Northwest Bank, where she plays a key role in supporting our Private Banking team and delivering exceptional, personalized service to our customers. She brings nearly three years of banking experience and has been part of the Northwest Bank team for the past two years.
Originally from Pella, Iowa, Payton values community engagement and enjoys finding meaningful ways to connect and serve in the West Des Moines area. She is a member of Valley Church and enjoys building meaningful relationships through her involvement there.
