We are converting our Online Banking and Mobile Banking platform to provide an enhanced experience, improved functionality, and new tools to help you manage your finances.

What You Can Expect on October 21, 2026 and How to Prepare:

We are excited to share that we will be introducing a new online and mobile banking platform on October 21st! While many of the features and services you use today will remain familiar, our new platform provides a stronger foundation for future improvements and expanded capabilities as digital banking continues to evolve. This conversion will also ensure we’re able to continue delivering secure, dependable banking experience for years to come.  Our goal is to make this conversion as smooth as possible.

GET READY WITH THIS SIMPLE CHECK LIST BELOW COMPLETING THESE STEPS NOW WILL HELP ENSURE A SMOOTH TRANSITION IN OCTOBER.

✅ Your accounts will remain the same.

✅ Your Username and Password will remain the same.

  • Make sure you know your Username and Password before the conversion. You’ll need to enter these credentials the first time you access the new system.
  • If you’re unsure of your Username, please call us at 800-678-4105 for assistance. If you’ve forgotten your Password, you can reset it by selecting “Forgot Password” on your Online Banking Login.
  • All token users will establish a new password on your first-time login after our conversion.

✅ Before the upgrade, please verify that your email address is up to date in your Business Online Banking Account:

  • Your email address listed will be used to send a verification code when you login for the first time after the conversion.
  • To review your email address.

Logging In For the First Time After Conversion:

When your new Business Online Banking becomes available on October 21, you'll log in using your existing Username and a Password that you establish through the Forgot Password process. 

✅ TOKEN USERS:

  • If you use a token today, whether it's a physical (hard) token or Digipass (soft) token, you will need to complete the Forgot Password process and activate your token during your first login.
    • Once activated, your token will serve as your multi-factor authentication method to help verify your identity.
    • Unlike today, you will no longer generate a one-time code using your token and PIN to sign in.
  • Soft Token Users:

The Digipass for Business Banking app will be replaced by the OneSpan Mobile Authenticator app.

  • During your first login, you'll be guided through the activation process and provided with a QR code that will take you directly to the appropriate app store to download the app.

✅ MOBILE BANKING USERS: 

  • As a convenience after our conversion, Business and Personal Mobile Banking Customers will use the same Online Banking login and Mobile Banking app. 

    • If you currently use both our Personal and Business Mobile Banking apps, you will only need to use the Northwest Bank Mobile Banking App to access all accounts for which you are an owner or authorized signer.
  • Our Northwest Bank Mobile Banking app can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play Store. This app is called "Northwest Bank Mobile Banking."

  • Beginning October 21, you will use the Northwest Bank Mobile Banking App to access your accounts. You may delete the Northwest Bank Business Banking Mobile App from your device.

✅During your first login after the conversion on October 21, 2026:

  1. You will be asked to verify your identity using a one-time passcode.
    • Simply choose to receive the passcode by email, text message, or phone call, then enter it to securely access your account.
    • For your protection, this verification may also be required when signing in from a new or unrecognized device. As part of this enhancement, you will no longer be prompted to answer MFA security questions during login.
  2. Next, you will be asked to accept our updated Terms and Conditions.

✅ There may be actions you'll need to take after the upgrade. Continue to check back on this page for updates throughout our conversion.

ACH Users:

✅ Your ACH participants will remain available in the new system for your convenience.

✅ To ensure a smooth transition, any ACH file with an effective date of October 21 must be submitted and approved in the ACH system by 5:00 p.m. on October 19. ACH files effective October 22 and beyond can be submitted after the conversion is complete on October 21, giving you full access to our enhanced platform.

✅ Scheduled ACH payments, including recurring payments, with an effective date of October 22nd or later will not transfer to our new platform. After the conversion, you'll need to re-establish any ACH payments you wish to continue.

✅ ACH prefunding will automatically be applied in the new plaftorm after conversion. There is no action needed on your part. For any questions regarding this feature, please contact your Treasury Management Representative.

  • ACH Prefunding: Before ACH payments are sent, the business must have enough available funds in its account to cover the total amount of the ACH file.

ACH TEMPLATES:

ACH history will not convert to the new system, so if you would like to save previously sent ACH payments or collections for future use, please save them as an ACH template in your current online banking platform by end of day on October 9, 2026.

To convert a previously sent ACH into an ACH Template:

  • Click Description of the previously sent ACH.
  • On the next screen, click "Save as Template" at the bottom of the page.
  • Edit any information as needed, assign user access if the template will be shared with other users, and then click 'Save' at the bottom of the page.

Remote Deposit Capture Customers:

✅ Your Remote Deposit Capture service will continue to function as it does today, with no action required on your part during our conversion.

✅ As we complete our conversion, Remote Deposit and Mobile Deposit services will be temporarily unavailable on October 20. If you need to make a deposit that day, our branch team will be happy to assist you. Digital deposit services will resume on October 21.

Wire Manager Customers:

 

✅ Your existing wire payees will convert to the new system and will be available after the conversion.
  • Following the conversion, please review your payee details to verify that all information is accurate and make any necessary address updates.

✅ Wire history will not transfer to the new system and will not be available after the conversion. If you need historical wire payment information after the upgrade, Northwest Bank will have access to prior wire records and can assist you upon request.

✅During our conversion, Online and Mobile Banking services will be unavailable. If you need to complete a wire transfer on October 20, simply contact or stop by your local Northwest Bank location. Our team is here to assist you and ensure your banking needs continue to be met throughout the transition.

Positive Pay Customers:

✅ There will be no changes to your Positive Pay service as part of the conversion. Your Positive Pay system will continue to function as it does today.

  • Accessing Positive Pay will be different after the upgrade. To launch Positive Pay, log in to Online Banking or Mobile Banking and navigate to Accounts > Risk Management Services. Selecting Risk Management Services will open the Positive Pay system.
  • 📱 As an added enhancement, you'll now be able to manage Positive Pay directly from the Northwest Bank Mobile Banking app.

  • Please Note: Positive Pay will be unavailable on October 20 during our conversion. If exception items are identified during this time, a Northwest Bank representative will work directly with you to review and clear them.

Additional Service Updates:

USERNAME AND PASSWORDS

 Existing Online Banking users will not need to re-enroll. Personal and Business Customers will access both Online Banking and Mobile Banking using a single login experience. Beginning October 21, you can download the new Northwest Bank Mobile Banking app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

BillPay, Recurring Transfers & Scheduled Transfers

Your BillPay payees, recurring payments and transfers, and up to 6 months of payment and transfer history will remain intact through the conversion.

There are some changes to be aware of. If you use Bill Pay for multiple business entities, you will need to re-register those entities after the conversion. 
ACCOUNT ALERTS

Your Account Alerts will migrate to the new platform so you can continue staying connected to your accounts. Any existing text and email alerts will transfer automatically; however, push notification alerts will need to be set up again after conversion. Be sure to review your current alert settings in your Online or Mobile Banking account and note any push notifications you'd like to re-establish after the conversion.

Statements and Tax Documents

No action is required if you are enrolled in eStatements. Your electronic statements will continue uninterrupted following the upgrade, and you will retain access to up to 24 months of statement history through Online Banking and Mobile Banking.

 

PROFESSIONAL SOLUTIONS

Your Professional Solutions relationship will remain unchanged through the conversion. You can continue to use these services as you do today, with no action required.
Quicken & Quickbooks

If you use Quicken® or QuickBooks®, you will need to reconnect your accounts to restore the connection between Quicken/QuickBooks and your bank. During this process, be sure to link your bank account to your existing Quicken or QuickBooks account rather than creating a new one.

Your historical transaction data and account history will remain unchanged. Once your accounts are reconnected, you will continue to have access to your existing account history.

Online Banking Conversion Downtime:

We're committed to making this transition as smooth as possible. In the weeks ahead, we'll continue to provide important updates, resources, and reminders to help you prepare. We encourage you to review the key dates below and complete any time-sensitive transactions, transfers, or payments before the conversion begins.

➡️We encourage you to plan ahead by completing any time-sensitive transactions, transfers and payments before the conversion. Rest assured, any previously scheduled payments or transfers will be processed according to their scheduled dates.

➡️During our conversion beginning October 19 at 6:00pm CST, Business Online and Mobile Banking services will be unavailable. This means you will not be able to view account balances, review transactions, process ACH, utilize Remote Deposit Capture or mobile deposit.

➡️Please continue to reference our timeline leading up to our conversion. Once the conversion is complete and live on October 21st you'll be able to enjoy new features and an improved banking experience.

Important Dates:

October 16-18, 2026

  • To help ensure a smooth transition, we encourage you to complete any time-sensitive transactions or transfers before our conversion begins on October 19. Any payments or transfers that are already scheduled will continue to process on their scheduled dates.
  • Make sure you know your Business Username and Password to be able to login after conversion. Please call us at 800-678-4105 for assistance. If you’ve forgotten your Password, you can reset it by selecting “Forgot Password” on your Online Banking Login.
  • Verify your Email Address in your Business Online Banking account is current.

Beginning October 19, 2026

  • Beginning at 6:00pm CST | Business Online and Mobile Banking services will be unavailable while our conversion begins.
  • This means you will not be able to view account balances, review transactions, process ACH, utilize Remote Deposit Capture or mobile deposit.
  • ACH Customers | To ensure a smooth transition, any ACH file with an effective date of October 21 must be submitted and approved in the ACH system by 5:00 p.m. on October 19. ACH files effective October 22 and beyond can be submitted after the conversion is complete on October 21, giving you full access to our enhanced platform.

October 20, 2026

  • Business Online and Mobile Banking services will remain unavailable.
  • Positive Pay Users: Positive Pay will be unavailable on October 20. If exception items are identified during this time, a Northwest Bank representative will work directly with you to review and clear them.
  • Remote and Mobile Deposit Users: As we complete our conversion, Remote Deposit and Mobile Deposit services will be temporarily unavailable on October 20. If you need to make a deposit that day, our branch team will be happy to assist you. Digital deposit services will resume on October 21.
  • Wire Customers: Need to complete a wire transfer on October 20? Simply contact or stop by your local Northwest Bank location. Our team is here to assist you and ensure your banking needs continue to be met during the conversion.

October 21, 2026

  • Your new Business Online and Mobile Banking experience will be available!
  • As part of our new digital banking experience, all customers will now use a single mobile banking app for both personal and business accounts.
    • If you currently use both our Personal Mobile Banking app and Business Mobile Banking app, you'll only need the Northwest Bank Mobile Banking App to access all accounts for which you are an owner or authorized signer.
    • If you currently use only our Business Mobile Banking app, you will be prompted on October 21 to download and begin using the Northwest Bank Mobile Banking App. Once logged in, you'll have access to all eligible accounts through a single, streamlined experience.
  • Take a few moments to recreate any push notification account alerts you'd like to receive so you can stay up to date on balances, transactions, and other important account activity.

Frequently Asked Questions

There are several reasons for this conversion.

  • Our current online banking program will no longer be supported.
  • This conversion enables us to provide enhanced security, improved navigation, expanded functionality, and a better overall digital banking experience.

The new Business Online Banking platform will be available beginning October 21st. We will communicate important dates, including any service interruptions, as the conversion approaches.

Customers will gain access to:

  • Mobile Positive Pay approvals
  • SecureNow login security
  • Future client self-administration capabilities. Information will be communicated when these additional capabilities will be available.

No. Existing users will not need to re-enroll in Business Online Banking.

You should have:

  1. Your Business Online Banking username
  2. Your password
  3. Access to your security token (if applicable)
  4. Access to your registered email address and phone number

  • We recommend verifying your login credentials before conversion.
  • If you do not know your password, use the "Forgot Password" feature or contact Northwest Bank before conversion to avoid delays.

No. In most cases, you will continue using your current username. Usernames will migrate over to the new Online Banking.

Some users may be required to complete a password reset when logging in for the first time after conversion.  Additional instructions will be provided before launch. 

Yes,

  • Users will log in with a username and password.
  • Existing hard tokens will continue to work after conversion.
  • No action should be required unless otherwise communicated by Northwest Bank.

Users currently utilizing a soft token may need to download and activate a new token application.  Northwest Bank will provide detailed instructions before launch.

Yes. The new platform includes enhanced security and authentication features designed to

protect your accounts and business information.
